Intern Panic

The new intern who forgets every room number, carries twelve clipboards, and somehow becomes the emotional heart of Saint Maybe Medical Center.

Specialty: panic sprintingWeakness: room numbersWeapon: too many clipboards

Front Page Profile

Status: emotionally paging himself

He came to learn medicine. Medicine gave him a hallway map and a crisis.

Intern Panic begins every shift with hope, three pens, and a tragically misplaced sense of direction. By minute seven, the pens are gone, the chart is upside down, and someone has asked him to find Room 312 in a building that appears to contain seven Room 312s.

He is not incompetent. He is simply new, caffeinated, and surrounded by adults who speak entirely in acronyms, beeps, and meaningful looks toward elevators.

His great gift is that he says the wrong thing at exactly the right time, usually causing Dr. Stat to point dramatically, Nurse No-Nonsense to sigh heroically, and the Chart Goblin to flee with evidence.

“I absolutely know where I’m going. I just need the hospital to stop moving.”

Best Intern Panic Episode Uses

Drama deployment guide

Use him whenever the hospital needs a human exclamation point.

Intern Panic is strongest when an episode needs velocity: a screaming pager, a missing room number, a suspicious soup delivery, or a romance subplot that accidentally begins because he drops seven clipboards between two people.

He should fail loudly, learn sincerely, and accidentally reveal the emotional truth everyone else was too polished to say out loud.
